Charity Fundraising

Over the last few months we have been working with a Northwest based charity called Thank Heaven. Sue, Averil and Andrew have been a superb team of people to work with and their dedication to raising money for the charity has been outstanding.  The team works to unite 6 Hospices across the North West those hospices are: Woodlands Hospice, Nightingale House Hospice, Halton Haven Hospice, Claire House Hospice, St Rocco’s Hospice, Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

Orchard first got involved with Thank Heaven to record a song written and performed by Andrew, who has produced the single to sell and donate all profits to the charity. The whole process has been magical and inspirational.

Thank Heaven are also hosting the ‘Grand Talent Trail 2010’ giving you a chance to win £1000 and a cheque of £2000 to be donated to one of the hospices supported by Thank Heaven. You can download the application form from the Thank Heaven website. The first round of auditions start on the 1^st November 2009 in Liverpool with further heats in Runcorn and Wrexham so get practicing! Applications must be in by 20^th October.
